Nose
Fragrant and fruity, it’s characterized by fresh golden apple and white peach notes, as well as delicate scents of acacia flowers and citrus fruits.
Palate
Dry palate, with a good structure and a decidedly sapid note that blends well with the overall acidic structure, creating a very pleasant and zesty wine. Its long finish is enlivened by the return of the aromatic notes.
It is a sparkling wine with all the characteristics of a Prosecco, but with a low sugar concentration that makes it especially zesty, with a fine bead, well integrated in the wine.
Growing Conditions
On the slopes rising towards the Alpine foothills, from local grapes.
Harvest
Sparkling wine made entirely from Glera variety, hand picked and selected in the second half of September.
Winemaking
Vinification
White-wine fermentation, that is to say, with the skins removed and at a controlled temperature of 20°C.
Secondary fermentation
On the spring following the harvest, with a slow process in large closed containers at 12°-14°C, with 2 months on the lees.
Funé has a decisive and strong character, but a very fine and elegant bead. Mixed in a stainless steel pressure tank for over 90 days, this wine is especially suited to someone looking for something unusual.
Appearance
It has a nice straw yellow colour with light green shades and a vivacious and elegant bead.
Food Pairing
Excellent for an aperitif, but also on its own. It enhances the flavors and scents of fish starters, tempura of courgette flowers and vegetables in general.
