Growing Conditions

Grapes for this Prosecco Superiore di Cartizze DOCG
grow on the Cartizze hillside, inside Valdobbiadene
area.

What makes Prosecco di Cartizze so special, compared to the other wines ? First of all, the place where it originates: a precious cru of only 107 hectares located in the heart of the province of Treviso, between the villages of San Pietro di Barbozza, Saccol and Santo Stefano di Valdobbiadene. Cartizze is a strip of hilly land that enjoys a favourable exposure and an ideal microclimate. Combined with the quality of the soil, rich in minerals and a clay subsoil, these characteristics constitute the ideal premise to producing a superior quality wine.

Harvest

Grapes are manually harvested in boxes.

Winemaking

Grapes are softly pressed
to obtain the must, which is then treated by refrigeration
and filtration. Fermentation takes places in stainless
steel tanks at controlled temperature between 18°C and
22°C. When the first fermentation is completed,
Charmat process and stabilization follow. All steps are
carried out according to the Conegliano Valdobbiadene
DOCG regulation.

Appearance

straw yellow color.
