Nose

Traminer immediately claims the nose, albeit with discretion: a gorgeous florality, particularly of springtime, expands harmoniously, as do the notes of tasty fruit, predominantly yellow peach, lychee, and pineapple.

Palate

While the Traminer is again obvious on the finish, it is the Trebbiano that infuses the crisp, finely-structured palate.

Growing Conditions

Harvest

Yield per hectare: 110 quintals Harvest period: 15-25 September

Winemaking

Vinification: after the grapes are pressed, the juice macerates on the skins briefly for 24 hours, then the must is fermented in temperature-controlled steel tanks at 18°C. The wine then matures sur lie.

Aging

Maturation: 2 months in the bottle.

Appearance

To the eye, the wine displays the qualities of each, offering a straw yellow that is both deep and luminous

Food Pairing

Rosabianco partners beautifully with vegetarian pastas and risottos with pumpkin, shellfish and lighter meats, as well as with a variety of Asian dishes, even those well-spiced, since their flavours contrast with and complement the wine’s complex aromatics.
