Nose

Refined and delicate with fruity notes and hints of wild berries

Palate

Altaneve Rosé has all of the wonderful fruit, body and structure of a Pinot Nero with the approachability of a Prosecco. The wine is well-rounded and full-flavored with a delicate, balanced finesse.

Growing Conditions

Altaneve Rosé is produced in the foothills of the Italian Alps, in the small town of Valdobbiadene, Italy. The wine is an exclusive blend of 70% Pinot Nero grapes from the Oltrepò Pavese region in the hills of northwestern Italy, and 30% Glera grapes from the Valdobbiadene hills in northeastern Italy. This unique blend showcases each varietal’s best qualities with a round flavor profile and a clean, balanced finish.

Harvest

Late August for the Pinot Nero and mid-September for the Glera

Bottling

The primary fermentation is done separately: 3 months for the Pinot Nero and 10-15 days for the Glera. The secondary fermentation takes over 5 months with another 1-3 months of fining.
