Nose

Very typical and elegant with distinctive fruity notes that remind of apple and white fruit.

Palate

On the palate is creamy, with a vivacious and fruity aftertaste.
Delicate mineral taste on the finish and good persistency.

Growing Conditions

Estate-owned vineyards in the hills between Conegliano and
Valdobbiadene at an altitude of 150/200 mt (492/656 ft) a.s.l.
The soil is clayey, limestone, sub-alkaline.

Harvest

Harvest by end in September.

Bottling

Isobaric after sterile filtration. The wine refines then in the bottle for roughly 2 months.

Winemaking

The winemaking process starts with a soft pressing of grapes, static decantation and fermentation at controlled temperature. The second fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks (cuvée close) at temperature controlled in contact selected yeasts and last approximately 90 days. The tartaric stabilization takes place at low temperature.

Appearance

Straw yellow with greenish hues; very fine and persistent perlage.

Food Pairing

Recommended as aperitif or with fish dishes and raw fish entrées.
